Reeds
Professional Reeds
Each reed is made for you as I would make it for myself, using only our “Grimaud” cane, gouged and shaped by hand.
Please allow 3-5 weeks for delivery of hand made reeds. If you wish to receive reeds regularly, I can put you on a monthly order.

All reeds that I make are guaranteed to have good tone and pitch (A=440) and not to crack or leak. If any reed should fail to meet these requirements, return it for a replacement.
Partially Finished Reeds
These would not carry my usually guarantee, except not to crack or leak when soaked.
Blank scrape reed.......................................$11.50
- Tied on & scraped only enough to cut the tip open.
Half finished reed.......................................16.50
- To be customized by the user. The basic scrape is mostly completed on the tip, blend & heart. The back may be slightly roughed in, but not cut deep. This reed will play all the notes, but not with a finished tone.
